Rust415 Alliance TCO
Rust415 respects the last district rule. However, if a team with no district, and all their own members, attacks a corp with one district. They can fairly take that district. If you want that district back you must do the same.
However, if they attack you with a ton of ringers, and by ringers I mean a ton of vets trolling for example:
1 demoniac bad 15 negative feedback
1 D3ATH CARD 15 O.H.
Is bull****
That is just messing up the concept of the game, and discouraging the newer playerbase.
The best thing to do to defend your district isn't to hire massive ringers, whether it be attacking or defending. You should, as much as possible bring your corp mates you play with. Find the best timer for your mates, and fight when most are online. The less ringers you need, the better(more experienced) your members become.
If they take it just work hard in the pubs and FW as a team, develop tactics, make isk and LP, and take it back!
Here's the rules: (and if these have been broken I'll fight with you to take it back)
1. corp with no districts may fight and obtain a district from another. Even if it is the last district of the defending corporation that district is basically up for grabs as the attacking corp is breaking into PC.
2. If attacking corp has atleast one district in their possession they CANNOT take the last district of the defending corp under ANY circumstance! This makeshift rule about not having members so we took it is bs because some of us have jobs ya know. We can't require members be online 24/7.
Caveat to number 2: To be fair, if your corp has defended 5 times consecutively with less than 6 members from corp the district can be taken. This complicates things because this community has no f****** integrity, but I'm trying to cater to 2 schools of thought here so bare with me?!
Basically, if you're just spamming ringers for every defense, and the attacker can prove (picks or vids) that you have failed to field a team of corp 5 times consecutively. Then you don't need to hold districts.... you need to recruit!
So, for example, hundred acre hood attacks The titans. The hundred hood already has 1 district. The titans continue to spam ringers from O.H. or any other major experienced corp. If hundred hood catches the titans with no O.H. online they can take that district because the the titans have failed to field a team repeatedly. I got it... sometimes you get caught off guard, and that's why there are alliances. We've been caught with legit 1 d*mn guy online from DC, and we had to rely on alliance for help.
Here's the difference! We usually take less experienced guys in from alliance corps when we fall short on bodies giving them an opportunity to play PC. We don't say "we'll I'm short so can I get Skill of God's best guys please and thank you?" That's scrubby as hell, and that's where the animosity gets built. We simply post the role needed in alliance, and grab the first guy to x up.
If your corp isn't in an official alliance then you can get help from friends ofcourse, but it just strikes everyone kind of odd that all short teams seem to be friends with the same ringers lol! Try bringing ringers that don't have the known corp tags.
3. Taking a district in a different time zone, and hauling it back to the opposite time zone because you can neckbeard, is a scrubby tactic?! Yes, it's a tactic for taking and holding districts, but at the end of the day you get more for fighting on districts, not sitting on them. While moving the district to a more comfortable time zone is allowed, let's not be girls about this?! Give the opposing team a chance to respond, and your team more fights! Hiding a district at 11:00 after taking it off of a 05:00 team is just scrubby?!
4. You can't show up to an attack with 15 ringers, and take a district?! Come on guy.... really?!
Now as far as Rust415 goes we're learning like the rest of you. So yes, some current, past, and future members have, do, and will conduct some scrubby activity, unfortunately. However, more likely than not, they got this activity from you, the community! Here the leadership works hard to break those bad habits so the community grows! Also, as the alliance TCO I have a sense of f****** integrity, and will do my best to stop scrub lord tactics within our alliance! That's why some won't request OB support when they know they up to no good, or some will pretend their comms just broke when they get questioned on activity. We're not claiming to be saints, but we are trying to help fix the problem while wars are raging, and there's deep seeded animosity around every corner?! So yes, s*** happens?! Sorry, but we're working here!
Just the other day some guy in alliance tried to attempt a district snatch with a team full of ringers?! I made the team leave because we were lied to, and we're told it was a defense. I won't help you be scrubby, but I will help you get better!
Guys this is supposed to be hard ya know. If it wasn't it wouldn't be worth playing?! Unplug the modded controllers, titan ones, and any other crutch. Stop bat phoning top corps when you get attacked by guys on your level. If you lose it? Go get it back! Stop taking this thing so personal jeez?!
Have fun above all else, and enjoy the good fights! If you lose play again until your teams tactics and skills improve. A wise man once said "ya win some... you lose some, but you live to fight another day." The fun part of this game IS the struggle!
Any questions please pm me in-game, or invite to chat. I'm not an evil guy, and I speak decent english, sarcasm, and common sense. Any other language a translator will be present.
